Oren, Judith

Judith Oren came to Israel at the age of 12 from Budapest, Hungary. She visited the United States in 1949-51, studying art with Murray Kantor, Byron Browne, and Harry Sternberg at the Art Students’ League in New York, where she won a scholarship, and at the Jepson Art Institute in Chicago.

In Israel, she has had solo shows in the major cities and participated in numerous group shows.  Her work is represented in the permanent collection of the Tel Aviv Museum and the Bezalel Museum in Jerusalem.

While in the United States, she exhibited in the Brooklyn Museum Annual print show, the Philadelphia Museum and the los Angeles Municipal Gallery
